2026 Gibson Limited Edition Medallion Flying V.

This was used to create my review and demo.

It will show signs of use in the form of picking scratches, polishing swirls, fingerprints, various light ware and tear from my processes.

It includes the original box tag, Price Hang Tag, COA, and other various original case candies. It will ship in the original hard shell case.

This is number 60 of the run. QC was not the best on this one.

–  Along the edge of the neck around the eighth fretting area, there is a small ding.

–  The finish was not properly buffed on the bodies heel edge nor on the treble side heel, overhanging the body.

–  When viewed in direct lighting situations, you can see some mild contaminations and dips in the finish across the guitar.

–  This is a VOS finish, so it has small scratches throughout.

***** I did a durability test on the limited edition medallion that includes… Using a polishing compound, a quarter to scratch and steel wool, so there are fine scratches around the Gibson medallion and a deeper scratch, right by the six. The backside of the medallion was engraved Trogly ’26.

–  There are minor finish marks on the body around the medallion where I pried it up originally.

Overall, similar to what you would get new, but certainly has some blemishes that you should know about as a buyer.

I would suggest a full setup upon arrival as there is some plinginess to the nut and saddles.
