If you want to see YOUR guitar reviewed on the show – email me with PAID VIEWER-GUITAR REVIEW in the title. Please keep in mind, this is a REVIEW. I will say the good, the bad and my opinions. I’m open to all brands, but exceptions may occur.

I charge $300 for the creation of a viewer-guitar video + shipping costs + optional cleaning fees (see bottom.) The $300 + cleaning fee is paid up front via NGD Payments. With insurance, it is best to estimate ~$150 per trip. I’m happy to shout out first names, but cannot do companies/bands etc. If a guitar has a story, you’re welcome to voice it or I can parrot it.

I do not suggest sending irreplaceable or highly sentimental guitars as shipping damage and mishaps can occur. While I aim to return every guitar in the same or better-than-arrived condition… scratches, mild nicks/dings and freak accidents can occasionally happen during transit or the documentation process. By sending your guitar in, you agree I am not liable for shipping / handling damages. You will have separate insurance. Any floyd rose/tremolo equipped guitar will need a full setup after my process, as I’m not specialized in those.

CONSIGNING

If you wish to further consign the guitar with me: I charge 20% of the total sales price, deducted at the time of sale. This includes the Reverb + Payment Processing fees. If Reverb isn’t the sales agent, 15% will be the new total. Any shipping costs are also your responsibility.

For example: Your guitar sells for $5000 on reverb. It costs me $150 to ship it to the new owner – you will get $5000- 20% ($1000) – $150 = $3850

Payment is disbursed after the buyer receives it and confirms all is good. If a guitar is damaged in shipping, we will have to go through an insurance claim. I can payout via Gift Paypal or mail you a check.

If you’re selling the guitar on your own – that is OK. I can include an affiliate eBay/Reverb link in the description, but not direct contact information to keep everyone safe.

CLEANING

I offer 3 cleaning services ONLY to booked review / forwarding guitars. This is not a professional “set up” service.

$100 – New Strings. Basic Wipe Down with Pump Polish, Fretboard conditioning with Dunlop 65. The “Good Enough” Package

$300 – New Strings. Steel-wool clean of fretboard and frets. Scratch X cleaning of guitar body/neck. I will clean around the tuners. The “Very Nice” Package

$500 – DELUXE DETAILING – I’m going to do this to your guitar

• New Strings. Steel Wool Clean of Fretboard and Frets followed up by a Dremel fret polish with Frine for mirror shine(some black residue might linger) Scratch X cleaning of entire guitar (removing tuners to get hard spots, unless otherwise requested) followed up by Virtuoso Polishing the entire guitar BY HAND. The “Trogly’s Personal Collection” Package.

OVERSIZED Guitars like Full Jazz Boxes, 335s etc will have an upcharge to the listed rates. 150/375/600

You’re welcome to clean your guitar before sending it in. You’re paying for my time more than the materials. I’ve shown you how to do it yourself 🙂

Time Line

If you need your guitar back or posted on a certain date – check with me first. You can usually expect a 1-3 week processing timeline from the date of delivery until I ship it back. I only ship on days that prevent an over-weekend stay with UPS for the safety of the guitar.
