Description

This was released in the Gibson MOD collection a little less than a year ago. It is a factory-modified 60s Les Paul Standard that has a new “Mintal Overload” paint job. Think, white top with a bunch of green glitter and a luscious dark green back all finished in GLOSS and you’re there! As an added bonus, the headstock was also painted metallic green.

This is how it left the MOD Collection – flaws and all. There is some severe pitting going on on the back of the guitar when viewed in certain lighting situations – it also has visible wood grain lines on the back. There is a contamination in the finish below the E string tuner. While cosmetic issues, they do not affect the guitar’s playability. I do believe someone might’ve fine tuned the nut – it is nice and rounded over, lubricated and this guitar feels BETTER to play than a stock 60s standard. It has a nice smooth feel to its playability.  The pickups are Gibson with a PAF sticker on the back but with no further stickers so I can’t say for sure which model they are
