This guitar comes in its original Chris Cornell Signature hardshell case. It has his signature decal applied on the outside headstock area as well as a white Gibson logo paired with charcoal interior. This case was made by TKL in Canada.  Inside the case compartment sleeps the COA, strap and other various paperwork. The case show mild storage wear

If you’re ready to get your grundge on, the Cornell 355 is for you! The Lollartron pickups are bright and crisp, which pairs well with lower tunings. Also equipped with a bigsby for light shimmers

This Cornell is in very fine condition. I’m sure most dealers would call it “mint” but I actually take the time to point out the small things.

On the treble side of the body, I see a few impression lines/dings by the pickguard bracket when viewed in discerning light. Being an open pore finish, you’ll see some sinking lacquer into the wood grain on the body and neck as well.

Under the pickguard, there is a small ding by the bridge pickup ring. The pickguard came unglued from the bracket block. I tried to fix – but there seems to be an issue with the angle of the pickguard on how it rests on the body. It doesn’t affect anything as-is and can still be enjoyed – or take to your lutheir to have it epoxied back on or add a spacer under the top guard screw.

There appears to be a contamination in the paint on the treble side of the neck where it would hang on a stand.

The original owner was from FL and the salt in the air has caused the hardware to age even more than how it left the factory pre-dulled. I polished the frets and put new strings on it 5-25-26. Set it up to your personal standards and enjoy!  I tried a new fret polishing technique – your fingers might turn black a little while playing for the first few plays

Overall, a solid 9/10 on my picky scale. It will please most collectors.
