The Case…
This guitar comes with a Fender Molded Hardshell Case. It shows scratches and use marks but is fully functional. Inside the case compartment sleeps many of the original hang tags and paperwork, including the COA. There are some bonus vanity poker chips if you would prefer to have them.
The Guitar! 8lbs 10z | C Neck
This has been well used and a bit “abused.” It was dinged pretty hard which has caused two “bashed in” areas on both sides of the body that have broken the finish and impressed the wood. There are few other spots like this two that are a bit less extreme by the bass-side upper bout and on the top edge of the headstock. There are some gouges in the binding by the toggle switch too.
Outside of those major blemishes, it simply has some larger impressions in your hand resting area on the top along with a few impressions dings here or there. There are also the typical neck pocket cracks and consistent fretware up and down the neck. The frets are still playable but you might opt to level/recrown depending on how picky you are on set up. This is perfectly fine for the at-home player. The output jack also has some finish missing by it – the jack is loose, I couldn’t figured out how to tighten it. The electronics have some mild cracking within them.
Someone installed some decorative poker chips around the switch tip – if you remove it, you’ll find they’ve impressed the finish. I’ve put the vanity plates back in the case and installed the original one Fender provided in the case when these were new.
The neck has been buffed into a full gloss finish in the playing area but left its original satin on the back of the headstock.
I have performed a cleaning, fret polish, fretboard conditioning and restring with 10 gauge Ernie Ball strings on Dec 14, 2025.
