The Case…

This guitar comes with its original 90s Gibson Brown Case with pink interior. It has a case shroud but the bottom tether has come undone leaving 2 spots holding it on. The case has light to moderate wear for the age. Combo lock is disabled – screws removed from top. Lock combo is unknown

The Guitar!

This was a limited edition produced in the fall of 1993. The official color code is AB for Autumn Burst. This 335 is different from the rest due to that unique finish not only on the body and sides, but also on the neck and sides of headstock just like a Les Paul custom! On top of that, we have gold hardware to accent on that as well as a very unique see-through “amber” pickguard stock from the factory. It is loaded with original Gibson ’57 Classics which were also a very new pickup at this point in history.

This guitar was just deep cleaned, frets polished and board conditioned on 3-25-24. It has that nice “wet” factory looking and is looking great. At first glance, you might not see anything wrong with this guitar but in the light and with a discerning eye, you’ll still find some blemishes. Polishing swirls/scratches, scratches on pickguard, ding on the edge, ding by bass-side f-hole, light colored fretboard, very mild buckle worming on the back, finish checking line running along body bindings edge on the back, a white paint splotch on back of neck as well as a few deeper scratches there too, as well as an impression in the cowboy chord area. I’d say the scratches and ding on the neck is the “worst” condition wise and even those aren’t that noticeable while playing.

This one has a nice smooth, mellow tone. Great for jazz – or raise the pickups and rock out with the best of ’em!
