The Case…

This guitar comes in an era-correct Gibson hardshell case with red interior. The exterior shows some tolex wear and cloth tape that has replaced missing areas along with other wear and tear from use. All three latches are currently present and functioning as is the handle, however, one of the brackets is bent on the handle.

The Guitar! Rounded C 50s Style Neck | 8lbs 9oz

This beauty was just deep cleaned and polished top to bottom including dremel polishing of the frets. Set it up to your personal tastes (or enjoy my settings) and you’ll be rocking in no time!

This guitar is in good to very good condition. It has many nicks and dings scattered across the top and many finish breaking dings along where your arm would rest. I would call this a 7/10 player’s grade guitar on a picky scale. Frets show minor wear in cowboy chord area but if you’re familiar with the fret wire in this era, you’ll be plenty happy with them. Truss rod has all the tightening direction you could ever need – doesn’t appear to have ever been used – neck is straight and plays well. The back has many scratches, worming marks and there are a few impressions on the back of the neck and the blacklight test reveals some minor clear coat wear.

– The strap buttons are Schaller Strap locks – an “Eye Test” Strap with locking counterparts is included

– I believe the pickguard to be replaced at some point

– The pickups are original era-correct ’82 Super Humbuckers. The solder work suggests the pickups have been in and out. The pots have some scratchiness to them – the shaft of the volume pot is loose but functions fine
