The Case…

This guitar comes in a 70s/80s Hamer Standard (explorer) case. If you’d rather a modern Gibson explorer “protector” case – I’ll happily order one in to replace this. The case some tolex tears and signs of use but the interior is in nice shape and fits the guitar snuggly.

The Guitar! Rounded C | 10lbs

This E2 is in Good condition. It has dings scattered across the top – worming marks on the back – finish rub through on the neck with some dings. This was played however, it just underwent a DEEP CLEAN on July 18, 2024. I would suggest a professional set up and either a new bridge or new saddles as the previous owner had it on upside down, but I flipped it back around. Plays nicely up and down with a fully functioning truss rod. Please see the video’s work bench segment to see the guitar in real time

Replaced parts:

Neck pickup Dirty Fingers was replaced with a TIM SHAW PAF from 1985.

Bridge pickup is a 1979 Gibson Dirty Fingers (shows heavy picking wear.)

Strap button screws (dunlop buttons are included in the case if you’d like to go back to them.)

Nut has a repair for low E saddle slot (baking soda/super glue trick.)
