This guitar comes with its original Canadian Made Gibson Case with black exterior and grey interior. Inside sleeps some of the original paperwork, truss rod tool and Gibson Strap.

The Gibson Midtown Deluxe was the highest-ranking “standard” Midtown model (even higher than the custom) and was a limited edition of 150 guitars across two finishes. Pretty much the only difference between the Deluxe and Custom is the figured maple top and exotic color options. Based on this example, I would say Gibson put a little more TLC into the deluxe as this one isn’t plagued with the typical QC issues found on other Midtown models.

This Rootbeer Deluxe is in very good condition. It has plenty of polishing swirls all over, but I don’t see any major nicks, dings or gouges. Overall, just some light playwear throughout when viewed in direct lighting in the form of minor scratches and picking wear. There is a small ding on the body binding (3rd to last photo) as well as a yellow discoloration to some of the binding areas on the neck and where the guitar rested on a stand on the body. The plastic is still over the backplate. The guitar is all original
