The Case…

This guitar comes in its original Fender Custom Shop hard case. It shows mild wear from storage/use, but is overall in 100% functional condition. Inside the case compartment sleeps the COA, Traveler Spec Card, Leather Strap and some other various paperwork such as the original receipt for over $8500!

The Guitar! 7lbs 14oz | 9.5-12″ Compound Radius | Large “C” Neck

This Masterbuilt Telecaster is very similar to the La Cabronita Especial since it has the TV Jones pickups in it! However, we’ve got a flamed Alder body with MOTO binding and a lack of pickguard to make this one extra special. The body features a Gloss finish, but the neck is a nice silky semi-satin. Speaking of the neck – the Flames on the back are 3D! The spec sheet might call it AAA… but I think it ranks higher. Photos do it no justice.

Condition-wise… this is pretty clean but I noticed a few minor blemishes

– string-like scratch by the toggle switch (visible in select lighting situations)

– minor scratching in the arm rest area (visible in select lighting situations)

– Various polishing scratches/swirls around the rest of the guitar

– a ding/finish lift by the back control plate (possible factory error)

– finish lifting/bubble by back string-thru ferrules (factory error)

I didn’t notice any large dings/gouges. This has only been sparingly played since it purchase in early 2021. It isn’t perfect, but a solid 9.5 out of 10 on a strict scale.
