This guitar comes with its original Fender Custom Shop Hardcase. It has a black exterior with black interior. It shows minor storage/usage wear but it overall, in good condition. Inside the case compartment sleeps the COA, Shop Traveler card, Leather Strap and Hang Tag from the store this was initially sold from (Wild West Guitars $10,940)

This master-built creation is quite the sight in person! The Carved Flame Maple top with exposed edges gives it that natural flamed binding look all the while a gorgeously figured maple fretboard adorned with abalone dot inlays graces your presence. To top it all off, the headstock features a matching flamed maple head cap and this Strat is a HARDTAIL! The fun doesn’t end there though – instead of the usual pickups, we have TV Jones Magna’Trons. The neck volume pot doubles as a push-pull which gives you the option to split the bridge pickup. The 4 conductor wiring is there for the neck pickup if you ever wish to add that to the circuit, but this one was spec’d from the factory to only split the hotter bridge pickup. The traveler card says this has an “exotic wood” body, but looks similar to a lighter-colored mahogany. The dark trans blue finish on the back allows you to see it dancing in the light and the mahogany woodgrain has a cool TV Blue effect to it on the neck!

Condition-wise – this one was too good to sit unplayed in the case! It features typical light playwear.

Here is what stood out to me

-scratches on the back by the upper horn likely from jean rivets. Visible in many lighting situations

– a small ding in the arm resting area

-picking wear in the “pickguard area” visible in certain lighting situations

– scratches in the arm resting area – visible in certain lighting situation

– general mild to light scratches on the back

– Some fretwear on the first 7 or so frets on the first 4 strings. No need for immediate attention, but good to know about.

Overall, this is pretty clean, but when you start to finely inspect it, you will see some blemishes. 

This is not a mint condition example, but a very solid 9/10 on a strict scale. 

Note: The back looks purple in some photos – it is predominately blue, but certain lighting situations can make it appear otherwise. The last 6 photos are to show the most major condition things to note
