This was sold to me as New Old Stock from the collection of a retired Gibson dealer. The collection wasn’t stored properly and lots of finish checking occurred to all the instruments. This has it on the headstock, by the heel join area and many other locations.
In transit to me, some additional finish checks occurred (which could happen in transit again) and a few finish cracks which could also be surface cracks in the wood also appeared. I’m not 100% confident how deep they are – good enough to get a nail in, but I don’t notice any flexing myself. See video for full condition run down.
Guitar plays as-is or can be a beautiful display piece. You don’t see a Custom Shop Edition Les Paul Custom from the 90s very often! Priced accordingly
